Title:
SECTIONALIZED BEARING RING AND ITS ASSEMBLING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03209020
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To assemble the two halves of each sectionalized bearing ring with their mating surfaces joining together simply and accurately by providing a pin hole near the mating surfaces in such a way as straddling the two halves and penetrating the mating surfaces, and inserting a pin through each pin hole.

CONSTITUTION: A bearing ring 1 is divided into two halves 3, 4 at the mating surfaces 3a, 4a, 3b, 4b approx. in parallel with the axis, and the halves are assembled wit the mating surfaces joining together. Pin holes 10, 11 are provided near the mating surfaces of these halves 3, 4, respectively, in such a way as penetrating the surfaces and straddling the two halves. Joining of the mating surfaces is made by inserting a pin 12 through these pin holes 10, 11, and assembly is made. Thereby alignment of the two halves can be made simply and accurately.
