Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sector beam antenna device having a scattering body which obtain desired wide sector beams.
SOLUTION: This device has parallel flat plates 1 composed of the combination of two parallelly arranged conductor flat plates 1a and 1b of which interval ranges between the half-wave length of a used wavelength and one wavelength, a primary radiator block 2 including an H bend function inserted between the two parallel flat plates, an input opening 3 opened in the plate 1a for feeding power to the block 2 and a scattering body 5 composed of a conductor provided parallelly to an opening 4 with a fixed distance apart from the opening 4 corresponding to the open end of the plates 1, and is constructed by providing the body 5 parallelly with the opening separated from the opening of an antenna composed of the plates 1 by a prescribed distance. It is possible to freely form the beam shape (radiation directivity) of radio waves radiated from an open part in a face perpendicular to the parallel plates by providing the body 5 composed of a bar-shaped or plate-shaped conductor in parallel with the opening in the vicinity of the opening to be the open part of the parallel flat plates.
