Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security nut of which less-expensive manufacturing process by cold-pressing is enabled, a broken hexagonal part is utilized for improving looseness stop effect without being wasted while keeping a fastening power by a high axial force, a disadvantage state caused at the time of fastening operation with a socket wrench can be prevented and an adjustment of a breakage torque or a size management can be easily carried out.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a security nut 1 including a tapered nut part 2 formed into a truncated cone shape, a hexagonal nut-shaped fastening nut part 3 and breakage separating parts 4 having the fastening nut part 3 connected to an upper bottom part of the tapered nut part 2 in such a way that it can be broken and separated. A diameter of the upper bottom of the tapered nut part 2 is formed to have a size larger than a length of diagonal line of the fastening nut part 3 and the breakage separating parts 4 are arranged at only two facing sides of the fastening nut part 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
