PURPOSE: To provide a security system which sends image information from a monitor means to a single receiving means, provided in an inspector office such as a guardroom, like centralization.

CONSTITUTION: This security system is constituted including a movement detecting means 5 which sequentially switches and receives individual pieces of image information from plural monitor means 2 and detects the presence of a moving body exceeding a specific standard in the individual pieces of image information and a screen dividing means 7 which divides the display screen of the single receiving means 9 so as to display the moving body exceeding the specific standard at specific display positions as to the individual pieces of image information from the monitor means 2. Further, the system includes a video recording and reproducing means 9 like a VTR device for recording and reproducing pieces of image information from monitor means 2 wherein the presence of the moving body exceeding the specific standard is detected.
