Abstract:
The tag has an upper housing with side walls joined by a top wall. A lower housing (3) has side walls that are joined by a bottom wall. The housings are joined along associated side wall pairs to form a closed tag body. A linear clamp (500) is placed within a tag housing to retain a tack body. The linear clamp moves in a substantially linear direction in response to force for releasing the tack body from the clamp. An independent claim is also included for a security system.
