Abstract:
To provide a sediment transporting system which can transport sediment with small energy, and to provide a sediment transporting method.
According to the sediment transporting system, a plurality of sediment transporting bodies 1 are floated on water in a water channel, and the sediment 2 is loaded in the sediment transporting bodies, followed by moving the water in the channel. Alternatively, the sediment transporting bodies are moved by towing the sediment transporting bodies by a wire to which the transporting bodies are connected.
