Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject device designed to effectively make all of uniform height of rush seedlings delivered from conveyer belts and packed into a cassette case.
CONSTITUTION: In the subject packer designed to allow rush seedlings 2 delivered by a pair of conveyer belts 4a fall into a cassette case 5 and pack them thereinto by the action of a seedling pressing body 7 free to make reciprocating motions, a seedling arranging plate 9 taking a horizontal posture a bit above the tips of the stems and leaves of rush seedlings dropped into the cassette case 5 is provided above the position of the backwardly moving end for the seedling pressing body 7.
