PURPOSE: To facilitate seedling and planting work on the face of a retaining wall by arranging wire net baskets having openings to fill vegetation base material on the front faces between formworks for retaining wall at proper intervals, and hereafter placing concrete to form the retaining wall.

CONSTITUTION: Wire net baskets 3 having openings 4 are arranged on the front faces between formworks 2, 2 for retaining wall at proper intervals, hereafter concrete is placed to form a retaining wall 1, and also drain pipes 10 are arranged. The wire net basket 3 is provided with the opening part 4 to fill vegetation base material, a step part 6, and drain pipes 6. Next, concrete is placed in the formworks 2, 2, after hardening the formworks 2, 2 are removed, vegetation base material is filled through the opening part 10 of the wire net basket 3, and hence the face of the retaining wall 1 is planted with threes. Hereby, the retaining wall surface can be provided with seedling and planting work at a low cost.
