Abstract:

To make possible of reducing labor in raising and growing seedlings in soil of a field and transplanting the seedlings as attaching the soil on their roots, relating to a seedlings-raising pot made of a can and a method for transplanting a plant for growing the plant in a state of burying the seedlings- raising pot in the soil.

This seedlings-raising pot made of a can has plural holes like as slits 3a and 3b, or others, permeable thin roots of a plant in at least one of a side wall 2 and a bottom wall 4 of a can made of a metal or a synthetic resin. The plant is grown in the seedlings-raising pot made of a can in a state buried in the soil while holding whole or an upper end of the pot on the ground, and in a case of transplanting a plant in the seedlings-raising pot made of a can, whole of the seedlings-raising pot is dug out and the seedlings-raising pot made of a can is removed by breaking out or separating, then the plant is transplanted together with the soil attached on the roots.
