To provide seepage control membrane ascent/descent type selective intake equipment which is devised so that a seepage control membrane cannot be affected by a rapid water flow of an outlet, even if an outlet is provided near an intake of a dam.
In this seepage control membrane ascent/descent type selective intake equipment, the seepage control membranes 13 (A-H) are suspended from frames 11 (A-H) which are arranged in a multistep manner around the intake 2 of the dam 1, respectively, so that the upper and lower seepage control membranes can overlap each other, and so that overflow water from on the uppermost frame 11 (A) capable of being lifted and lowered by a lifting machine 6 can be taken in from the intake 2. The outlet 3 is provided near the intake 2 of the dam 1, and a protective cover 32 for covering the outer peripheries of the seepage control membranes 13 (A-H), which are positioned at least near the outlet 3, is provided. Since the seepage control membranes 13 (A-H) are hardly flapped by the rapid water flow which is sucked into the outlet 3, the seepage control action of the seepage control membranes 13 (A-H) is not deteriorated. Additionally, since the seepage control membranes 13 (A-H) are not deformed, a hindrance is not caused in ascending and descending.
