Abstract:
The brakes (a,b) are distributed around the outer area of a wall in a machine unit acting on an axially movable rotor (5) with friction coatings (6) positioned at both sides and connected to a toothed hub. The left friction coating is pressed against the wall and the right coating against the rotor disk (4). The magnet coil carriers (1) are of a rectangular shape while the coils (2) themselves are of a space saving oval design.
