PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily convey segments even if a long-distance tunnel is constructed.

CONSTITUTION: A go trip hoist beam 14 and a return trip hoist beam 15 connecting between a vertical shaft 13 side of the base end of a tunnel 5 and a shield machine main body 2 side of the front end are provided to the upper part of the inside of the tunnel 5 formed in the ground excavated by the shield excavator main body 2, and turnable hoist beams 16 and 17 are connected between both ends of both hoist beams 14 and 15. Hoists 19 capable of conveying segments 3 in a suspending state are reciprocated by means of the hoist beams 14-17. According to the constitution, the segments 3 can be conveyed in succession without making the hoist 19 for a return trip interfere with the hoist 19 for a go trip.
