PURPOSE: To obtain display which is natural, easy and nice to be viewed and whose color is clear by displaying a symbol such as a character, a number, or a pattern by continuous line constitution and respectively making the inside of the segments of a display part emit light by multicolor.
CONSTITUTION: The display parts 12a, 12b and 12c are provided on the front surface of a substrate 11 at regular intervals. Next, a rectangular screen is formed by arranging a large number of segments 121, which is constituted so that the symbol such as the number,the character, or the pattern can be changed and displayed by the continuous line constitution by the combination of light emission, in a jigsaw state in the respective display parts 12a - 12c. Then, by making the inside of the segments 121 constituting the display parts 12a - 12c emit light by multicolor, a display pattern whose shape is extremely natural, which is easy and extremely nice to be viewed and whose color tone is beautiful can be formed. Thus, since an aesthetic effect is remarkably enhanced, an excellent color effect is obtained, and the device copes with various purposes.
