PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a hanger on the side of segment.
SOLUTION: This device comprises a rod 3 provided to a shield machine erector so as to move freely to be close to or away from a segment 2 to be held; a male screw part 7 to be inserted into a female screw part 6 formed in the segment 2 formed at a lower end of the rod 3; an elevation cylinder 4 moving the rod 3 so as to move to be close to or away from the segment 2; and a motor 5 rotating the rod 3 around its axis.
