To provide a segment magnet for a magnetic field generator, capable of simultaneously achieving high homogeneity and low skew angle of a magnetic field in the internal space of the magnetic field generator and easily performing the molding process, advantageous in the cost.
The segment magnet for the permanent magnet type magnetic field generator is for forming an annular magnetic circuit, and consists of an outer diameter side magnet 11 constituting the outer diameter side of the annular circuit and at least two inner diameter side magnets constituting the inner diameter side of the annular circuit. The permanent magnet type magnetic field generator generates a magnetic field substantially in one direction in the internal space of the annular circuit with the segment magnets which are annularly disposed.
