PURPOSE: To excavate an incline with a large depth by furnishing a running beam over behind an erector for assembly of segment, providing it with a rack over the whole length of the beam, allowing a pinion of a suspended type doll to mesh with the rack, and transferring the segment.
CONSTITUTION: An erector 9 is installed in a tail plate 4 of a shield excavating machine 2, which excavates an incline 1 for a multi-face tunnel 8. This erector 9 is rotated, and a segment 10 is pinched by a gripper 11 and placed in a specified position on the inner wall. A segment supply device 13 is installed at the bottom of a prop 12, and a placed supply dolly 14 receives segment 10 from a segment moving device 15 and gives it to the erector 9. Behind the erector 9 rails 18... and rack rails 20... are laid. Transport dollies 19... are towed by a self-running dolly 21 and transport the segment 10. Thereby the segment 10 can be handed over safely and easily.
