Abstract:
To provide a seismic isolation device excellent in buckling performance and durability without impairing required seismic isolation performance.SOLUTION: A seismic isolation structure 10 is formed by alternately arranging hard material layers 11 and soft material layers 12. The seismic isolation structure 10 has a constricted part R2. A ratio Rw of a width W2 of the constricted part R2 to a width W1 of the seismic isolation structure 10 is within a range of 0.7≤Rw≤0.825. A ratio Rh of a height H2 of the constricted part R2 to a height H1 of the seismic isolation structure 10 is within a range of 0.6≤Rh≤0.8. A seismic isolation device 1 comprises the seismic isolation structure 10 and two plates 20 arranged at both ends of the seismic isolation structure 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
