Abstract:
PURPOSE: To save construction work and reduce construction cost or the like.
CONSTITUTION: A foundation slab 3 of a specified thickness is constructed on an excavated surface of a ground at a specified depth to construct a building where a support block 6 and a receiving block 7 are installed on the foundation slab 3 and on the lower side of a floor slab 1 on the lowest floor of the building respectively. A seismic isolation bearing 8 installed between the support block 6 and the receiving block 7 where the seismic isolation bearing is designed to transmit the self-weight of the building to the foundation slab 3 by way of the support block 6 and reduce the response of the building during seismic time.
