Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wrong operation from generating without deteriorating operability for a backward step by providing first and second elastic mechanisms generating resisting force against operation of an inner lever to select the shift step position, and an operation load increasing mechanism.
SOLUTION: Movement of a lever shaft 2 to the backward moving step select position is performed by movement from the neutral position to the right direction. In the case, when the lever shaft 2 is moved up to the 1-2 speed select position while compressing a 1-2 speed select spring 35, a spring receiver 34 contacted with an interlock plate 13 is brought in contact with a sprng receiver 32, and moved in the axial direction while compressing a spring 33. Simultaneously, a lock ball 43 is contacted with the projecting part of an inner lever 9, and resisting force is overlappedly applied. When the ball 43 exceeds the apex of the projecting part 40, in addition to a fall of the resisting load, the ball 43 assists movement to the backward moving step select position by elastic force of a spring 47, and hence the lever shaft can be moved by small operating force.
