This selected gas permeable packaging material is a laminate including at least a vapor deposition thin film layer formed of an inorganic oxide of 5-300 nm thick and a sealant layer formed of a thermoplastic resin with heat sealability on one side or both sides of a base formed of a plastic material, and capable of controlling the permeability of the gas consisting of non-polar molecules while maintaining the permeability of the gas consisting of polar molecules.
