To provide a selecting apparatus that can quickly select a combination of transport channels in which good transmission efficiency is obtained from among a plurality of prescribed combinations when transmitting the transport channels to a radio base station by multiplexing them in a radio section.
The transport channel selecting apparatus includes: a storage means for storing information on the combinations of transport channels to be transmitted to a radio base station; an address generation means for generating an address partly including information corresponding to the number of transmission blocks or a prescribed maximum number of the transport channels stored in a transmission buffer; an extraction means for extracting, from the storage means, information associated with the address; and a selection means for selecting transport channels from the transmission buffer according to the combination indicated by the extracted information.
