To provide a selecting device and a selecting method for prescribed contact lenses for orthokeratology, capable of selecting prescribed lenses which provide definitely optimum fitting without requiring trial and error.
In a case where a fluorescein pattern is deflected from a concentric circle of a pupil, a lens of such a shape as to be capable of improving the fitting corresponding to the deflected direction is selected for the prescribed lens. The prescribed contact lens for orthokeratology is thus selected to provide the optimum fitting. In a case where the fluorescein pattern is on the concentric circle of the pupil, a lens of such a shape as to be capable of improving the fitting corresponding to a case where an alignment curvature pattern width is smaller than a reverse curvature pattern is selected for the prescribed lens. The contact lens for orthokeratology which brings more stable fitting can thus be selected.
