Abstract:

To provide a selection line driver for preventing the polarization of a liquid crystal material in order to decrease the flickering of a display device.

Line selection line voltages are toggled as well in order to prevent the capacitive currents in pixel capacitors when the given line of the array of the liquid crystal display having toggling back plane voltages is selectively released. Line selection line drivers include a pair of transistors(TRs) which are connected by a push-pull system. A pair of the TRs corresponds to the control signals generated in the corresponding steps of the cascade connections of the shift registers. A pair of the TRs form a buffer step for preventing the toggling voltage generated in the line selection lines from affecting the operation of the shift registers when the line is selectively released.
