PURPOSE: To effectively perform a selective call by comparing terminal one bits in a shift register and a memory to store its own receiver number as shifting in ring shape sequentially and recognizing the bit as the selective call to its own receiver when a count value for the total number of bits shows a value less than a prescribed value.
CONSTITUTION: The shift register 1 stores a selective call signal bit by bit sequentially at every input of the bit, and shifts a storage content by a clock signal, and outputs the terminal one bit. Also, a data selector 2 inputs each output bit of the register 1 sequentially and cyclically to the input side of the register 1 by the command of a select signal in an input cease time between one bit on which the selective call number exists and the next one bit. And a memory 5 stores its own receiver number of plural bits, and outputs the terminal one bit of its own receiver number sequentially by the clock signal, and compares the output bit of the memory 5 in the register 1 at every bit at a comparator 8, and counts a value by a counter 7 at every issuing of a noncoincidence signal as a result, and when the value is shown as the one less than the prescribed value, it is judged that the selective call is placed to its own receiver.
