PURPOSE: To promptly change batteries before the output voltage of the batteries falls below the working voltage of the receiver by easily predicting the expected date of the next battery change at any time in the selective call receiver of this kind.
CONSTITUTION: The date of the battery change is automatically stored in a storage circuit 7 by the changing operation of the battery 13 and the date is displayed at a display circuit 9 at any time by operating an operation part 12 as required. Then, the expected date of the next battery change is made easily predictable at any time (for example, by setting that the date of the previous battery change + 3 months = the date of the next battery change, etc.) for the selective call receiver. Thus, the batteries can be changed promptly before the output voltage of the battery falls below the working voltage of the receiver.
