PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve client service by enabling a client to select a guest room advantageous for the client based on guest room information and client information reflected with the guest room utilization information of the client in the past or the like by providing this information to the client when the client selects the guest room.
SOLUTION: In this selective guest room utilization system for Japanese style inn or hotel by effectively utilizing client management, a large monitor 4 and a touch panel type terminal manipulator 3 are arranged in an entrance 1 of a Japanese style inn or hotel and the client can selectively utilize a vacant guest room suitable to the client's taste by operating the touch panel type terminal manipulator 3 on the basis of the guest room information and the client information displayed on the large monitor 4 by the check-in operation of the touch panel type terminal manipulator 3. The guest room information contains the internal conditions and charges of respective vacant guest rooms. The client information contains the discount rates of charges of respective vacant guest rooms corresponding to the guest room utilization record of the client in the past and the personal information of the client or the like and current service points ranking corresponding to the guest room utilization record of the client in the past.
