Title:
SELECTIVE RADIO CALL RECEIVER WITH DISPLAY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06132877
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To effectively utilize a lot of alarm sounds without increasing the own selective call number and to provide high-quality alarm with high identifying ability.

CONSTITUTION: A received signal inputted from an antenna 1 is amplified and demodulated by a radio part 2 and afterwards, a decoder 4 decodes the input digital signal by utilizing a reference clock generated by a crystal oscillator 5 and sends that signal to a control part 7 of a CPU 6 by using a waveform shaping circuit 3. The control part 7 confirms whether the own address number registered on an EEPROM 9 is coincident with the selective call number shown by the output of the decoder 4 or not and when the coincidence is detected, the number is stored in a memory part 8 together with a following message signal. On the other hand, the memory 8 registers the name of a person designated by the same selective call number, alarm mode different for each language and symbol, and alarm sound and designated contents are alarmed to a carrying person by an LCD 12, LED 14 and speaker 16. A keyboard 10 inputs the registration of personal names and alarm modes or the like.
