Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method where platinum group elements are efficiently concentrated- recovered from the rear liquid or the like extracted with gold in a copper electrolytic slime, and further, from the concentrate of selenium, tellurium and the platinum group elements, the selenium is efficiently separated and recovered.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for separating selenium, tellurium and platinum group elements where a solution containing selenium, tellurium and platinum group elements is subjected to reduction treatment to form a reduced slag in which the selenium, tellurium and platinum group elements are concentrated, the reduced slag is subjected to oxidative roasting to selectively volatile the selenium, thus the tellurium and platinum group elements in the roasted residue and the selenium are separated, preferably, the reduced slag is roasted at 400 to 700°C under air circulation to selectively volatile the selenium, and further, the tellurium remaining in the roasted residue is subjected to alkali leaching so as to be separated from the platinum group elements.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
