PURPOSE: To provide a compact eqiipment stated in heading by arranging a connection arm attached to the same shaft as that of a pedal lever to exactly follow the wear of clutch facing in a clutch unit mechanism, thereby always maintaining constant stepping amount of the pedal lever.

CONSTITUTION: With a pedal lever 3 unloaded, said lever 3 is pushed back toward a driver by a spring 7 and a release lever 13 is counterclockwise turned because of the contact of an angular contact tooth 13a with a stopper 14. Thereby, a screw bolt 15 under the lever 13 pushes a free end of a torque transmission coiled spring 10 in a restoring direction to spread a sleeve 11. A frictional enagagement of a boss of a gear 9 and the spring 10 is then released so that the gear 9 is unloaded from the spring 10 and freely turned. Resultantly, the connection arm 6, positioned in correspondence to a restored position of a clutch, is allowed to be turned. Thus, the connection arm may be automatically corrected in obedience to a wear of clutch facing.
