Abstract:
To provide a calcium ion-containing self-assembled complex that can form a self-assembled structure using a substance found in a living body and adjust components of the structure to control the self-disassembly rate of the structure, thereby providing control of the delivery rate of an active ingredient and a morphological change of the structure.SOLUTION: A calcium ion-containing self-assembled complex contains calcium ions and one or more ligands. The ligands and the calcium ions are reversibly self-assembled or self-disassembled. The shape of the self-assembled complex varies depending on a type of the ligand or, in the case of multiple ligands, on a mixing ratio of the ligands.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
