Abstract:
To provide a self-checkout system for smoothly performing self-checkout by early detecting customer's error operation and coping with the error operation.
In the self-checkout system, self-registers 11-13 and a clerk register 10 are connected so as to communicate with each other. When any erroneous operation is performed in one of the self-registers 11-13, the self-register generating the erroneous operation transmits error information to the clerk register 10. When the error information is received from one of the self-registers 11-13, the clerk register 10 displays the contents of the error and informs a clerk of the error.
