Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten balancing time of rigid body by providing at least a single projecting part projected on the inside surface of a cover member and/or the bottom surface of a race so as to guide a movement of a movable member by selectively contacting with the movable member when a rotary body rotates in the vertical direction.
SOLUTION: A self-compensating balancer is composed of a main body 60 having a retractably formed annular race 61, a movable member 70, a cover member 80 and the projecting part 81. The projecting part 81 selectively contacts with the movable member 70 by a rotating speed of the main body 60. That is, when the main body 60 stops, the movable member 70 is positioned under the race 61 by dead weight. When the main body 60 rotates at a low speed, since the dead weight is far larger than centrifugal force, the movable member 70 slides downward in the race 61. While, when the main body 60 rotates at a normal speed, the movable member is separate at a prescribed interval from the bottom surface and the projecting part 81 by rollingly contacting with an outside wall having a notch shape or a round shape.
