PURPOSE: To provide a self-curing lubricant which can be premixed and has an excellent field workability.
CONSTITUTION: This lubricating comprises cement having a surface modified so as to lower an ion-exchange reaction with bentonite in water, bentonite, calcium aluminate, gypsum, a hydroxycarboxylic acid or its salt, and a separation preventive. Since the surface of the modified cement is inactive, it does not cause an ion-exchange reaction with bentonite in a liq. phase, thus preventing agglomeration of bentonite and cement. Even when the components are kneaded together at a time, the lubricity derived from swelling of the bentonite can be satisfactorily provided. Further, the lubricant is excellent also in fluidity, bleeding, and separation resistance.
