Abstract:

To provide an ecofriendly self-emulsifying composition which has very effective emulsification ability and is capable of producing an oil-in-water emulsion of a stable phase and stable viscosity.

This self-emulsifying composition contains (a) 7 to 20 mass% of stearyl oligo-glycoside, (b) 7 to 20 mass% of cetyl oligo-glycoside, (c) 0.1 to 3 mass% of myristyl-glycoside, (d) 0.5 to 7 mass% of lauryl oligo-glycoside, (e) 4 to 12 mass% of cetyl alcohol, (f) 10 to 20 mass% of stearyl alcohol, (g) 20 to 30 mass% of 16/18C partial glyceride containing 58 to 62 mass% of monoglyceride and (h) 20 to 30 mass% of 16/18C partial glyceride containing 30 to 45 mass% of monoglyceride, provided that the total of the respective amounts shown including water is to be 100 mass%.
