Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of an electric shock accident, eliminate operational instability of bimetal caused by heat radiation, and enhance adaptability to an environment by housing a constitutive part such as bimetal in an insulating case.
CONSTITUTION: An insulating base 6 on which bimetal 2, PTC3 or the like are positioned is housed in an insulating case 7 having a heat insulating property, and a housing opening is blocked up by a case cover 8 formed integrally with the insulating base 6. Thereby, an electric current is restrained from flowing outside, and an electric shock is prevented, and diffusion of heat is restrained, and a quantity of heat generated in the PTC3 is supplied sufficiently to the bimetal 2, and operation of the bimetal can be stabilized. Since the housing opening is blocked up, a measure against moisture entrance can be dispensed with, and adaptability to an environment can be improved.
