Abstract:
To provide a self-position identification device for a movable body capable of always correctly identifying a self-position regardless of moving status of the movable body.
The self-position identification device for a robot body for identifying a self-position of the robot used in a room, comprises an all-directional camera 9 installed in the robot body to face toward a ceiling of the room and a controller 20 for processing a ceiling image filmed by the all-directional camera 9 so as to determine a proper position for the robot body regardless of an inclination angle of the all-directional camera 9 or the robot body 1.
