To provide a self-priming type solid-liquid separation apparatus preventing wear of a self-priming liquid pump and purifying a solid-liquid mixture at a low cost without requiring a special arrangement (special material or special structure) as a self-priming liquid pump.
In the self-priming type solid-liquid separation apparatus connected to the self-priming liquid pump and cyclone-separating sludge contained in liquid, an apparatus body has an inside/outside double structure having a first cyclone mechanism connected to a pump suction system upstream of the pump and disposed outside and a second cyclone mechanism communicating with the first cyclone mechanism, coaxial with a whirling shaft of the first cyclone mechanism and disposed inside, liquid is introduced from the outside for first cyclone-separating, and second cyclone-separating is performed to the liquid separated in the first cyclone-separating. A separation tank recovering the cyclone-separated sludge is disposed under the first cyclone mechanism and second cyclone mechanism.
