Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve cooling effect of a motor and suppress temperature rising in the motor by providing a cooling water path, in which sucked water sucked and delivered by a pump runner flows for cooling the motor, around the outer circumference of a motor storage chamber in a self suction type water suction pump incorporated in a washing machine, etc.
CONSTITUTION: When a motor 43 is rotated, a runner 42 is rotated via a runner shaft 49, a suction chamber 41d becomes negative pressure by its rotation, a check valve 46 is opened so that an air in a water suction hose connected to a water suction port 26a is sucked, and then mixture between the air and the water is sent to a discharge chamber 40i. Then, the air sucked in the runner 42 is separated from the water by action of a separation wall 40, a bubble prevention rib, etc. A cooling water path 40e is provided by communicated with a steam separation chamber 40k so that the sucked water cools down a motor 43 while circulating in the cooling water path 40e and absorbs noise of the motor 43.
