Abstract:
To provide a self-propelled snow accretion ring removal device that can reliably crush a snow accretion ring by means of a mechanism which is simpler and more rational than conventional mechanisms.SOLUTION: A self-propelled snow accretion ring removal device 1 includes: a traveling device that moves along an overhead wire W; and a crushing device attached to the traveling device to crush and remove a snow accretion ring R. The crushing device has a pair of crushing blades 51 arranged on the right and left sides of the overhead wire W to rotate. The crushing blades 51 are respectively attached to the rotation shafts in the horizontal direction arranged oppositely over and under the overhead wire W, and rotate within a vertical plane in close contact with the overhead wire W on the right and left. In each of the crushing blades 51, a tip part 52 extending in a windmill shape from the center side to the peripheral side along a rotation plane in the radial direction around the rotation shafts is formed. The right and left crushing blades 51 rotate in the same direction in side view, and the tip parts 52 of both the crushing blades 51 come into contact with the snow accretion ring R from the front and the rear to crush the snow accretion ring R in a twisting manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
