Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To consider various ideas about a position detector so as to directly read positional information on a traveling surface by utilizing high-level information processing technology and information reading technology of recent years by purposing the simplification of the detector of the traveling position of a self-traveling body in a game machine. SOLUTION: With the game machine by the self-traveling body which travels tracking target points on a traveling route one by one according to a program and is feedback-controlled with the positional information as a necessary condition, passive RFID tags are lined up at prescribed intervals on a traveling surface, an RFID antenna is provided at the self-traveling body, an answer command signal is originated toward the RFID tags on the traveling surface from the RFID antenna of the self-traveling body, an answer signal from the RFID tags is received by the RFID antenna, the code information of the RFID tags is read from the answer signal by the code reading part of the self-traveling body and this is transmitted to a central controller. The RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) is an information transmission element capable of writing and reading data without contact to/from a medium by utilizing radio and electromagnetic waves.
