Title:
SELF-PROPELLED GEOLOGICAL INVESTIGATION MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3921090
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, quickly and efficiently perform a geological investigation by automating it by automatic ram sounding.
SOLUTION: A hammer device 3 is loaded on the guide part 4a of a leader 4 provided on a self-propelled machine 2. A test rod 9 is mounted on the lower part of the hammer device 3, and a ram 17 built in the hammer device 3 is lifted up through a cylinder 24 by the engagement of a claw member 21, the engagement of the claw member 21 is released at the rise end, and the ram 17 is freely fallen to strike the test rod 9. The striking frequency every 20-cm penetration is counted to perform an investigation such as hardness of ground.
