Abstract:
To strike a balance between prevention of scattering of coating liquid to be splayed and quality of a coating film by readily moving a coating applicator to any working position using a pneumatic propulsion device.SOLUTION: A self-propulsion type coating applicator (10) includes: a pneumatic propulsion device (11); a spray nozzle (12) for forming a spray port (121) on an outer side of an operation region of the pneumatic propulsion device (11); supply means (13) for supplying coating liquid to the spray nozzle with a pressure of 1 MPa or less; and a contact frame (14) extending farther than the spray port (121) and coming into contact with a work plane (W) to be splayed with the coating liquid by the spray nozzle (12).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
