PURPOSE: To secure such a self-sealing tube coupling that is excellent in setting operability even by means of a robot hand by installing a stage, a claw female body, a slider plate, a bar male body, a holding body and a compression coil spring, while making a plug get into a socket in the state that the bar male body is inserted into and engaged with the claw female body, and opening both valves.

CONSTITUTION: In this device, a plug 10 of a self-sealing tube coupling for a tube end is plugged in a socket 20 at the vessel side, and thereby a tube 2 and a vessel 1 are interconnected to each other. A claw female body 40 is set up on a stage 42 of a socket body 21. A bar male body 30 fitted in this claw female body 40 is installed in a slider plate 32. A holding body 39 of the plug 10 is attached tight to this slider plate 32. Then, a compression coil spring 35 is attached to a plug body 11. In a state that the bar male body 30 is engaged with the claw female body 40, the plug 10 is inset in the socket 20, opening both valves 15, 25. In consequence, setting of the self-sealing tube coupling and vice versa, is facilitated and, what is more, its setting operation is easily executable by means of a simple structural robot hand.
