To provide a self-supporting suspending device with which space can be utilized effectively.

The self-supporting suspending device of this invention includes a base 10 having an upstanding post member 11, and a fitting portion fitting with an end part of the post member rotatably, and also a suspending unit having arm members 13, and hook members 30 each mounted on the end part of each arm member. This device enables effective suspending of various articles, even in small space, and provides a suitable suspending device according to the shapes of the objects to be suspended by selecting the number, the length, or the arrangement of the arm of the unit, the number of the unit, and the length of the post.
