Abstract:

To provide a self-supporting tile which is so burned as setting the opening degree of the top part and the bottom part to an approximately same opening degree, even if a bent self-supporting tile is burned by self supported on a mount face of a carriage, and has similar external appearance to the conventional self-supporting tile when it is laid on a roof, even if a plurality of projection parts are provided on its end faces.

The bent degree of a tile bent in the width direction is set large enough to be mounted on a mount face of a carriage for burning the tile in a self-supported state with one end face of the rear part of the tile faced downward and to hold the self-supporting state in burning the tile. Small projection parts 5a, 5b, 5c for floating the end face of a hidden part 3 from the mount face of the carriage are provided in three positions surrounding the gravity center projection point of the self-supporting tile 1 in its self supporting state in the end face of the hidden part 3 which is located in the rear side of this self-supporting tile 1.
