PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-traveling multi-story parking garage capable of reducing manufacturing cost while increasing safety and crime-prevention measure by substantially re-examining about the installation of fire walls preventing fire or spreading of fire and arrangement of smoke exhaust ports and installation of smoke-proof down walls by the specifying of a fire limit area or by the use of fire resistant structure or nonflammable material.
SOLUTION: This self-traveling multi-story parking garage 10 is formed so that a fire resistant installation is provided on the outer periphery of the self-traveling multi-story parking garage or all structures are open, and a ventilating hole 14 is disposed in parking areas 13 and car passage 12 of car rooms 11 on floor plates at an upper story or roof. Then, an updraft passing through the ventilating openings 14 is caused positively so as to form a disaster preventing air curtain to raise flame and smoke produced from a burning car just vertically along the car. Thus, a radiation heat is dissipated to prevent fire from spreading to an adjacent car and also a smoke layer is formed on the floor plate at the upper story or roof so as to exhaust smoke continuously to the outside of the self-traveling multi-story parking garage.
