The self-traveling type crusher is provided with a crushing apparatus 4 for crushing a thrown object to be crushed; a conveying out device 6 provided in proximity to the crushing apparatus 4 and conveying out the crushed object to be crushed; an armor wall 8 for covering the whole periphery of the crushing apparatus 4 and forming an armor of a machine body; a first door 1 openably/closably provided on the armor wall 8; a second door 2 standingly provided so as to open/close a side of the conveying out apparatus at an inner side of the machine body than the first door 1; an opening/closing state detection means 3 for detecting the opening/closing state of the second door 2; and a control means for stopping operation of the conveying out apparatus 6 and the crushing apparatus 4 when the opening of the second door 2 is detected by the opening/closing state detection means 3.
