A self-traveling type recycled article production machine comprises several kinds of sensors 139, 140, 150-159 for detecting a quantity of state of each instrument involved in operation of the machine; a controller 84 for generating first information data for normal work and second information data for coping with troubles, based on detection values of these sensors, and carrying out processing to output the generated data signals; and a liquid crystal display part 166 for selectively displaying the first and second information data outputted from this controller 84.
