PURPOSE: To reduce a restoring force in a rapid turning condition by dislocating positionally a wire part installing place in an arm member and an operation shaft or a support part to a rotary shaft in the orthogonal direction to the lengthwise direction of a wire mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: A wire part 6 installing place (a) in an arm member 3 and a support part (c) to a steering wheel shaft 2 are dislocated positionally in the orthogonal direction to the lengthwise direction of a wire mechanism A, and when a steering wheel steering operation angle becomes a prescribed angle, the wire part 6 is wound smoothly round the steering wheel shaft 2. Since the steering wheel axis P, a wire connecting part (a) and a connecting point (b) are aligned in a straight line in a rectilinear travel condition where a rear wheel steering angle is zero, when a tension spring part 5 is set to be pulled slightly in this condition, initial stress is operated.
