To provide a semiautomatic rotary slide door which can be mounted to the doorway of a toilet or the like in such a manner that the slide door is mounted so that a U-shaped arm can swing on one of sides of the doorway and in which the upper and lower ends of a door panel are connected to the ends of the top and bottom arms of the U-shaped arm respectively, and a suspending wheel attached to the top end of the door panel is loosely fitted in a top rail so that the rotary slide door is opened and closed, while the door panel is rotated and slid, allowing the opened door panel to close by itself so as to be locked.

A coil spring is incorporated in each of hinges 4a which are attached to a U-shaped arm 2 of a slide door to allow the arm 2 to swing, and a latch is mounted to each of side ends of a door panel 1. The latch can be engaged with an engaging part provided on a stile 20a of a door frame and an engaging part provided on a stile 10 of the arm 2 as well.
